Education

WalkSafe offers a complete selection of classroom materials for educators, virtual lessons for families, and printable resources. Our virtual lessons incorporate the latest in safe streets, reflecting the importance of improving our sidewalks and crossings for people of all ages and abilities.

As a public health institution, we take pride in bringing evidence-based curricula to the classroom, designed and evaluated using the scientific method.

WalkSafe's Elementary Curriculum is taught yearly by teachers at Miami-Dade County Public Schools, in addition to the BikeSafe program.
